Production Blog
To start off my production, I chose on what editing app I'm going to use. I chose videostar because a while ago I use to edit on that app, so I know how to use it. I've been editing on that app since I was 10 years old. I even bought extra effects on that app 5 years ago, so this is my preferable editing platform. I don't plan on using many effects, but I am going to add the music to the background. Possibly sound effects, as well. The song I chose which is "rolling stone" by Brent Faiyaz, is downloaded to my phone. I'm going to put this song in the background once I insert all my clips to video star. The music isn't going to be loud or low. To put together the commercial, I'm going to use clips of myself, my friends, and me doing things that make me happy while also inserting 4 pictures from my childhood and 1 video from my childhood. I still don't know what it is exactly I'm going to say, but I have a slight idea of some of the things I am going to say. As more time goes on I'll come up with more creative ideas. I also am going to find videos on the internet that describe me to give the commercial a bit of a amusing vibe, I don't want my commercial to be highly boring. I will only do this if I feel if it is necessary. I love traveling so I want to add pictures and videos I've taken on trips I've been on. Every-time I see the sky turn any color other than blue, I'm quick to take out my phone, I have a whole album of sunset pictures. I feel like sky pictures I take are able to describe me so I plan to add these in. My commercial is going to be less than a minute, so I'm going to try my best to edit in and add everything I described in here in the commercial, and even more things I'm going to plan over the rest of the week. When I finish recording and editing my commercial, I'm going to show it to the people I'm closest to so they can tell me if it accurately shows who I am as a person. Something that I already know is that the beginning of my commercial is going to start with a childhood picture.
