The eleventh scene got filmed. I decided to edit this scene, it was my choice today. This is one of the most important scenes in the music video. This clip delivers the main message. In this scene, I was a little rushed So, I didn't add too much effects or edits. I only added basic edits to this clip. Of course, I added the fade in and fade out effect. As I mentioned this will be in every clip of the music video. When my friend in this clip of the music video starts to take off her makeup, I add a very small zoom in effect. As it is zooming, my friend starts to have a smile on her face. The reason for the zoom is so emphasize how her mood changes. This reflects on how at the beginning the actors in the music video were looking all gloomy due to how they felt insecure due to their looks. But, now the smile shows how they no longer feel insecure. I also added a little speed up while the girl was taking off her makeup. I didn't want to make this scene long because even though this

  Today, I edited the sixth scene of the music video. This scene showed my friend searching up celebrities that meet the beauty standard. She zooms in one specific parts of the celebrity that demonstrate them having plastic surgery. I don't add much edits to this scene. I add the part of the song that goes with this scene. I also slow down a part of the clip that emphasizes the part of the scene that shows what my friend is doing to try to look like the celebrity. The slow down edit I add is to show what girls goes through to change themselves. Since this is only one scene, I didn't want to fill the clip with edits. This would make the scene look ugly and messy. The fact that this scene I edited isn't long doesn't help either. There was literally no way that I would be able to add more than 3 edits. However, the beginning of the scene starts with a fade in and ends with a fade out. I did this so there could be a nice looking transition between all the scenes. Every sing

  Today, I went to the mall with my friend so I could get filmed for the music video. This was the fourth scene of the music video. In this scene, it is shown that I'm looking at everyone walking around the mall. A face of despair comes on my face as I look at everyone else then at myself. To show this, I start covering myself to demonstrate how I feel like nothing compared to the other girls at the mall. This just adds on to my insecurities because in the music video it is already shown that girls like myself are going through the same thing. Other girls like myself compare ourselves to others. Each scene that is filmed for the music video adds to the meaning and story behind the whole video. This scene that was recorded of me also shows me opening up my camera to look at myself after seeing everyone else. Opening up my camera just makes me feel worse about myself. I look at my face and then think of all the other faces I saw walking past me. To me, I am nothing compared to them.

  Today, the first scene of the music video was film. I went over to one my partners in the music video house so I could record her for the first three scenes in the music video. I used my iphone camera to record my friend Abigail. I used my phone to record her looking into the mirror. I filmed this scene from a medium long shot. The medium long shot demonstrates how my friend is looking at her body and face. My friend feels insecure about her body and face, so this shot shows how she is using her hands to touch her face and body. As my friend is examining her looks, she has a frown on her face, this is because she is not content with her physical appearance. After I film my friend looking sad in the mirror, there is a tracking shot following her to the bathroom. When she gets to the bathroom, I record using a medium shot of my friend looking into the mirror of the bathroom and taking out her makeup products.      This production blog is about why I was unable to film. My group and I wanted to film today, but, a lot of altercations came up. We already weren't one hundred percent sure that we were going to be able to film today, but we had hope. Sadly, we did not accomplish the goal of filming, I was busy with many different things and so were my groupmates. I had so much homework to do, absolutely no time to start recording clips. On top of that, I had an orthodontist appointment right after school that was approximately two hours. Along with the loads of homework, I had to worry about doing any extra credit assignments to boost my grades. I believe that higher the grade, the better. I decided to leave the filming for another day because I feel like worrying about the quarter that is soon coming to an end is more important than starting on this music video that isn't due until a few weeks. My mindset is like this because I know I'm going to get the music video done on time no ma

  Scene 1 - A girl looking in the mirror feeling insecure and depressed due to her body and looks.  Scene 2 - A girl goes to the bathroom to apply makeup on her face because she wants to make herself feel prettier, better, and secure. Scene 3 - After a girl puts on makeup to attempt to make herself feel better, she still doesn't feel confident about her looks .  Scene 4 - Girl goes to the mall, but, then she sees how everyone else looks, and she feels uglier than everyone there, which adds on to her insecurities.  Scene 5 - After going to the mall trying to find a bathing suit for the beach, she ends up not buying a bathing suit and goes to the beach fully covered because she is too insecure to show off her body. Scene 6 - Girl then looks up celebrities that have surgeries so she can make herself look like them, an attempt to make herself prettier.  Scene 7 - As a girl goes out and meets some new people, she starts comparing herself to them, she feels like she is a hideous monster

 My music video will be done in a group of three. Me, and my two friends Abigail and Amiya. They're both in different periods than me but we have multiple ways to communicate. I chose to work with Abigail and Amiya because I've known them for a while. Us working together doesn't seem to be an issue because we aren't difficult when it comes to deciding on things. All of us are hard workers and have strong work ethics, so us not doing our work isn't a issue at all. They are people that can make doing this project more fun. The work of 3 brains is better than 1 brain. Especially, when it is a group of people who apply themselves. I can depend on them to make everything run smoothly in the process of turning in assignments for this project, and they can depend on me to do everything correctly as well.   Hi, I'm introducing myself again for my music video project. I have two siblings, one older brother and one older half-sister. My older brother lives with me, but my half-sister lives in Colombia. Neither one of my siblings look like me, however, everyone says that I look just like my mother. I love just being able to relax alone or with my friends more than anything. To me, relaxing alone is laying down in my bed using my phone or electronics. When I say relaxing/hanging out with my friends, I mean going to the beach, mall, movies, etc. I hate being bored, and I get bored easily, so whatever I do has to be something that interests me. I hate Sundays, because it is a reminder that I have school the next day and have to wake up at 6 in the morning, summer and long vacation's are what I like, those things just include: not having to worry about school, not having to wake up early (which I hate), staying up late (which I love), and much more.
