Production Blog: Making final changes and edits.
As the due date of the music video is very close, some final edits and changes were made. A few scenes that were on the storyboard were changed. Instead of going to the beach, I decided it would be better to do it at the pool. Going to the beach is a lot of work and comes with more complication. Filming the fifth scene at the pool will still deliver the same message as if it would be filmed at the beach. The actor would still be fully clothed and looking insecure for the shot. Also, the last shot for the music video was filmed for the music video. This was a medium long-shot of me in the bathroom removing my makeup. This scene was recorded quickly before I went to school. For some reason, today I woke up earlier so I decided to film this scene and get out of the way. Recording this only took about 15 seconds. All the scenes that include me are all finished. The only thing left to do is to edit the clips and I'll be all done. During study hall, I put some of the clips together. To do this, I used capcut. I wasn't able to put all the clips together though because not all twelve scenes are done. I'm done with my scenes, but my group members are not. When all the group members finish their scenes by the end of the day, I will add all the clips together. I will also add the song in the background. Since the music video is 1 minute and 15 seconds, I decided to use the last 1 minute and 15 seconds of the song I'm doing for the music video. I decided this because the last part of the song gives the whole purpose and meaning of the lyrics. If I don't put the last part of pretty hurts in the music video, there would be not be a storyline for the music video.
