Filming Blog: Scenes 3, 4, and 5
Hi, bloggers! It's been a few days since I last blogged. Today, I'm going to write about how filming three scenes of the opening sequence went. Todays work load was a little heavy because it is a Monday, and I had homework to do that was due the next day. However, I was able to film and complete my assignments! By the time I was finished with everything, I was drained. Filming scenes 3, 4, 5 also took quite some time. This is because this time I was the one behind the camera. I don't have a lot of experience with angles and making good recordings. So, recording these scenes was a great learning experience for me! I had to restart a few times while filming because I kept messing up on the shots, this caused a bit of a delay in the filming time. For scenes three, four, and five I will not be making an appearance. Being behind the camera is a big role. I have to worry about the lighting, the quality, the angles, etc. Although recording was a little nerve recking, in the end I had a lot of fun when I got a hang of it. I wasn't alone in the learning process because one of my group mates with more experience than me helped me a lot. I was able to learn a lot due to my groupmate helping me with what I needed. This filming process took about 2 hours. While filming, there was a lot of breaks and procrastination this time. I took a break to eat and to use my phone for a few minutes. After these two breaks, I really focused on what I was doing. Once again, to record I used the camera of my iphone 13 pro, I felt more comfortable using my phone because I know how to work the camera better than a tripod or any other type of camera. Also, buying a whole camera is a little pricey and overall too much, I believe that with my phone camera I am perfectly fine. With time, I will get better at filming, because the more I record, the better I get, my goal is to get more and more better each time.
