Making my project was pretty simple, it just took a long time because I was trying to make all the clips look nice. Last minute I changed up a lot of things, after I turned in all of the production blogs was when I changed my mind on what was going to be in my project. Therefore, a lot that is in my commercial doesn't match up with my production blog. I asked myself some questions to be able to reflect on my project. Question #1: What do I think I can do to make the next project better? To make the next project better, I'll use better clips and make the edits run a little more smoothly. Perhaps, I'll even add more effects so that the project can seem more well-organized. I will also not wait to do it at the last minute. I'll start working, editing, and putting together my project at least a week before. This is so I can make all the tweaks and notice all the mistakes with all the time I need. Doing this will also help my project look better and neater, it's better

 This is my commercial all about me, I hope you enjoy. 

  I finally got all my clips of my clips together. Today I went to the park with my friends and was able to get some ideas. I told them to say descriptive words to describe me, so I can put as captions for my pictures. Since basically all of my clips are done and ready, I inserted them all. I didn't make any edits to the transformation of the scenes, no dissolving, no fading out, no nothing. I just made the scenes be a jump cut. But, as I was looking at all my insertions together I realized it looks bland. Later on, I might add a fade out effect on VideoStar. This is easy and I can do it in like one second. My commercial isn't completely finished,  I still need to do some tweaking, I plan on doing that over the weekend. However, most of it is done. I got almost everything done today. As I was listening to the song I chose on the commercial I realized that it doesn't really describe me. I still left the song in the commercial because of the meaning behind it. I spent some ti

 For the video, I sped it up a little bit and made it shorter because I didn't want the whole commercial to just be focused on one thing. As for the sky pictures I've taken, I added them and put captions describing where I took them. I only added 3 sky pictures, I didn't want my commercial to be based on sky pictures. I also wrote down what is going to be said about my mindset on sunset pictures and why it describes me. All the editing I've done on the app has gone very smoothly, nothing difficult. The only thing I'm really worried about is making my commercial have the right amount of videos that describe me. I recorded a clip today of my friends and I but I immediately deleted it. I didn't like it at all. Everything about it was just off. The setting looked ugly, it looked rushed, and the angles were bad. I also chose a specific order of the pictures. I started adding the pictures and videos on to video star. I also went ahead and added the music in the background. As I was adding pictures of my childhood, I realized how I took being a toddler and kid for granted. I would do anything to go back. For me, most of my childhood was like rainbows and sunshines. Not having to worry about a thing, I'm only 15 years old, but my mindset is completely different to how it was 10 years ago. Definitely had less things to worry about as a 5 year old, the only topic that would flood my mind at the time was which barbie doll I wanted to ask for next. This shows how fast things change and how fast time goes by, which to me, is an crazy concept of life. I added text to my commercial on the pictures with video star to summarize my thinking process about childhoods, I feel like it describes me and can say a lot about my character.  To start off my production, I chose on what editing app I'm going to use. I chose videostar because a while ago I use to edit on that app, so I know how to use it. I've been editing on that app since I was 10 years old. I even bought extra effects on that app 5 years ago, so this is my preferable editing platform. I don't plan on using many effects, but I am going to add the music to the background. Possibly sound effects, as well. The song I chose which is "rolling stone" by Brent Faiyaz, is downloaded to my phone. I'm going to put this song in the background once I insert all my clips to video star. The music isn't going to be loud or low. To put together the commercial, I'm going to use clips of myself, my friends, and me doing things that make me happy while also inserting 4 pictures from my childhood and 1 video from my childhood. The whole planning part of choosing my pictures consisted of searching for old pictures of me on major events of my life when I was younger. It took me a long time to find the right pictures. In the span of two hours I was able to find 4 pictures and 1 video that I want to choose. The reason I only choose childhood photos is because I do not take pictures of me currently, most of the time when someone wants to take a picture of me I say no. The very few pictures that I do have I don't like how I look in them, I'm not photogenic at all. The first picture I chose was on my very first halloween. Halloween is a holiday that I find very enjoyable. The fact that it is during fall is just one of the the advantages. Halloween is a day where you can be creative and dress as anything you want, the whole idea of coming up with a costume idea is simply the best. I am a 15-year-old girl who was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I have two siblings, one older brother and one older half-sister. My older brother lives with me, but my half-sister lives in Colombia. Neither one of my siblings look like me, however, everyone says that I look just like my mother. I love just being able to relax alone or with my friends more than anything. To me, relaxing alone is laying down in my bed using my phone or electronics. When I say relaxing/hanging out with my friends, I mean going to the beach, mall, movies, etc. I hate being bored, and I get bored easily, so whatever I do has to be something that interests me. I hate Sundays, because it is a reminder that I have school the next day and have to wake up at 6 in the morning, summer and long vacation's are what I like, those things just include: not having to worry about school, not having to wake up early (which I hate), staying up late (which I love), and much more.
